Dr Alex C Varghese

Alex is the Group Scientific Director for Fertility Associates New Zealand and Malaysia. He is actively involved with research, having emphasis on clean room IVF unit designs, stress-free embryo culture systems leveraging the strength of artificial intelligence and automation thereby streamlining the precision embryology practices and reducing the time to achieve a live birth.

He is a prolific medical author and co-editor of 10 books in assisted reproductive technologies. His long-standing research works on male factor infertility and training as a postdoctoral research fellow at the American Centre for Reproductive Medicine, Glickman Urology Institute, Cleveland clinic, USA has paved ways to high throughput research outcomes in male infertility and he has a vast expertise on handling more than thousand micro-TESE cases for ICSI.

Prior to joining Fertility Associates, Alex held Lab/Scientific Director positions in leading IVF programs in India and Canada. He believes in 'responsible reproduction' through ethical practices, affordable IVF for the masses, quality management, and safe practices that safe- guard the health of IVF children.
