Kimberley Gamet

Kimberley began her career as a Genetic Counsellor in the UK in 1999.

Kim is a very experienced Genetic Counsellor having gained UK registration in 2005 and certified as an Australasian Genetic Counsellor in 2007, following her move to NZ in 2006. Kim is particularly interested in cancer genetics, reproductive decision making and genetic counselling education. She also works for Auckland City Hospital as a senior Genetic Counsellor. She is has an active role in ensuring professional standards for Genetic Counselling and is Chair of the Human Genetic Counselling of Australasia Certification Committee and Deputy Chair of the Board of Censors.
