Sandeep is a proud New Zealand Indian, born and bred in Wellington. He prides himself on being genuine, caring, friendly and approachable with patients.
Sandeep has seen first hand the significant stress and grief patients can go through with issues of infertility and reproductive endocrinology. He is committed to working alongside patients to navigate these challenging pathways and achieve realistic goals for their families.
Sandeep is currently working at Wellington hospital in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and he is completing his sub-specialization to obtain CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility – the highest training level for Fertility in Australasia).
Sandeep has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Genetics before obtaining his medical degree also with the University of Otago. He is now a clinical lecturer with the University of Otago, Wellington Medical school.
Sandeep believes self-care and wellbeing is important to maintain optimal health and be resilient in challenging times. Consequently, he has a broad range of interests outside medicine to ensure he maintains that balance. Sandeep is a sports fanatic particularly passionate about hockey, a sport in which he has excelled in and also loves spending time with his young family.
