Dr Anna Bashford

Anna is a warm, compassionate and understanding doctor, up to date with the latest evidence and practice. Her professional interests, in addition to fertility and reproductive endocrinology, include menstrual disorders, endometriosis, adolescent gynaecology, menopause and pelvic pain.
Anna trained in medicine at Otago University, started her specialist training at the Royal Free Hospital in London, completing it in Auckland. After graduating as a fellow of the RANZCOG she worked for 10 years as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at National Women’s Hospital (NWH) with a special interest in adolescent gynaecology and laparoscopic surgery.
Anna joined Fertility Associates in 2014 after spending a year in Queensland completing a fellowship in fertility and laparoscopic surgery. Anna achieved her Masters of Reproductive Medicine (MRMed) at the end of 2016 from University of NSW.
Anna
is married with 3 children and enjoys tennis, netball, swimming and trying to
stand up on her surfboard in the summer months.
